ReplyDeleteYowsers! I can feel the excitement and can't wait to see the visual talent of each participant. Thank you. The Trip around the world tutorial is great. I liked your logic about the triangles and using a design wall.
ReplyDeleteI love Faith's quilt, but my favorite part was that she was inspired by that ad and made her own, actually followed through and did it. (And hers is much more beautiful than the ad!)
ReplyDeleteFaith's quilt is beautiful! I love your fabric, the colors are amazing!
ReplyDeleteLove the design and the simplicity, highlights the colors brilliantly

ReplyDeleteFaith's quilt is beautiful. I love the way it highlights all the different fabrics. DeleteI really loved Lindsay's quilting, it just made it and what a beautiful, colorful quilt!
ReplyDeleteshe makes everything look easy, like squirting a bit of fresh lemon on a heavy sauce dish to freshin- it up...and she doesnt mind if you take a bit off her plate, she shares, shares and shares.. and she always answers emails with being completely polite. Just look at her site,, its just brightness and cheery like her smile. If I were to meet any blogger I follow, first I would want it to be her. Honestly..
ReplyDeleteLindsay's quilt speaks tons about her...and her directions. and made her problem of a broken quilting experience work for her not against her. I have been reading her material and sewing with her since Zakka 101, It was midnight, I am trying to learn to sew and make this project for the week, I post a comment on Flick for help, BANG ! and instantly an email pops up helping me..she does her research like she says and hey ' if it dont work, do it another way" thats a great attitude, I love it. and she does share too..
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I love seeing the different ideas Everyone has! Craft Buds' post with the writing was lovely, and a good machine compromise.
ReplyDeleteFaith's quilt is lovely. I was surprised when people pointed her at the Trip Around the World block for this as I hadn't realised that's what it was. It looks like a lot of work and I love the way she pieced it diagonally.
ReplyDeleteThe Tuesdays Playing Card qulit is nice as it looks like a perfect way to use scraps. That is my challenge this year....learn to use scraps instead of being so tailored and matching all the time!
ReplyDeleteLove the fabric! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteSafari Moon is a wonderful collection. Lindsay showcases the collection so well with her Playing Cards quilt. Thanks for sharing.
