I made these sweet hearts, (no pun intended with some left over scraps. I was wanting to make a valentines project that I thought I would share. These scrappy hearts would be great appliques to use on anything. Here are some ideas: A potholder, a pocket on an apron, a mini quilt for a teapot to rest on, a candle to sit on or just lay them around the house. Instructions on how to are given below.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much Nina!
ReplyDeleteI love the heart stitch? What machine do you have? I've never seen that stitch before. And I love the potholder or coaster idea. Great for your kids' teachers.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for writing me. I have a bernina artista 730E. It is expensive and I am still paying it off after 5 years. But I love that machine. It has many decorative stitches and the hearts was one of them. But you can use any decorative stitch and set it as big as you can.
ReplyDeleteJust have fun and use those stitches you never use!
